Easter at the Beach

Still playing catch up over here! Along with getting our house in order for the move, I’m wanting to get our “family record” here up to date before we leave. Blogging just never seems to be at the top of my to do list!

We got to spend a long Easter weekend with some of our favorite people in the world.

We woke up early, early on Easter morning to watch the sunrise at the beach. See the moon back there?

There it is!! Our savior is risen!

Girls in the pretty first light. They also read the Easter story from scripture for us. Such grown up girls these days.

Grandma arranged a super fun egg hunt. These kids were ready to go!

Altogether with Baby Olivia too.

Funeral for a vole. They were singing “Voly, Voly Voly” (holy, holy, holy). Excuse the sacrilege.

Uncle Tom

The traditional bunny cake. Ears by Ezra, I believe.

I just love this (blurry) pic of Si chatting in between the grandparents. And grandpa showing him the kids’ favorite Easter toy, a little spinning “chick” (sad yellow pom pom) comes out of the egg. Mom made an AMAZING Easter dinner. Wow.

These two were being so stupid- Tom and I were laughing our heads off at them. Nutmeg was insisting on jumping on Penny’s back and Penny was more or less letting her but kept wandering out of her range (Nutmeg was tied) and Nutmeg would keep trying and trying to jump up there but not quite make it.

Bit of a love/hate relationship.

Thanks, Masts for the lovely S.A. Mast reunion and Easter celebration. We loved being with you again and enjoying beautiful spring in Delaware!
