Mommy/Daddy Snow Days

January has been a pretty quiet month for us. We’ve been bundling up, sleeping under lots of quilts, wearing our slippers, doing lots of homework. I have to proudly say that Claire got straight A’s for the second time this year! And give a shout out to Tom for the hours of math homework he’s overseen!. The other two kids make us proud too with their good behavior and grades at school- this school experience has been hugely positive. Thank you God! (and teachers!). I’m trying not to panic while driving in snow but I’m not very good at it. We work mostly at the RIC here in Columbus but I usually still drive to Rosedale once a week. The office is making a permanent move to Columbus in a few months and I can’t wait for that! If you don’t already, you can like RMM on Facebook and see what I’ve been up to at work! 🙂  Rhonda and Nixson and Jonatan (new Nicaraguan teammate) are all in BKK now, as well as Anna and it makes us so eager to get back there! Yes, there are moments of anxiety and stress, but overall, we are gearing up and ready to take the plunge again. Please continue praying with us for the right neighborhood and the kids’ school.

The kids had a couple of snow days in January- one while I was off and one while Tom was- so we had some fun mommy/daddy snow days.

A cold, cold, cold day (10 degrees I think), called for an ice wreath. It last a week hanging on the front porch!
