Giving Thanks

My parents came for Thanksgiving this year!! It was a perfect year for it too, because Tom left the day after for Nicaragua so they were able to spend a few days with me and the kids, keeping us company while he was gone. Last time this happened, I had a flat tire, this time, the car wouldn’t start. I’m so glad Dad’s always around when I have car trouble when Tom’s gone! 🙂 It’s been in the shop most of this week so I’m also thankful for a backup RMM car and for Colleen to drive me around (and keep us company!). Love you, friend!

Mom made so much food that I barely had to do anything. It was fantastic! Least stressed Thanksgiving ever. Our Thai friends were planning to come but they are doctors and got called to an emergency surgery, so we were disappointed that they couldn’t come. But our IFI friend from Iran, Babak could, and he and Dad had a good time talking politics and middle east travel, etc. Wish you could have heard the conversation about George Bush and John Wayne.
