Well, hopefully everyday is love day at our house 🙂 but yesterday was a fun Valentine’s Day. For breakfast we got all this awesome sugar cereal in the mail from Grandma. :)…the kids loved trying out some cereals that they never get…thanks, Grandma and Grandpa Mast! (Btw, they had a great grandparent mail day this week- letters from all the grandparents at once- they LOVED it!).
We had a busy morning of homeschool and the girls made Kandinsky inspired art by choosing colors inspired by classical music. Kandinsky believed that color could inspire emotion, like music can. Interesting!
Tom came home from teaching kindergarten, covered in heart stickers, the Thailand valentine tradition.
For lunch, us ladies went out for ice cream! I love you, my girlies!
I gave the girls the book, I Like You as their gift and card. I like them a lot.
Si Si got stickers too!
Tom and I headed downtown for a date. Our plan was Oishi japanese but there were 80 people on the waiting list so we went with our backup plan of Tony Romas.
There were big crowds out for V-day and a teeny tiny moon. No BKK date is complete without an interesting commute home- this time an overcrowded skytrain and a woman vomiting right near us, then a songtaew (bench truck) ride the rest of the way.
