The Nutcracker

Yesterday afternoon we got to go see The Nutcracker ballet, performed by the Bangkok City Ballet, as an early Christmas gift from Tom to us three girls! Thank you, honey!! WE LOVED IT!

Tom read the original Nutcracker aloud to us during the week leading up to the surprise. Then he gave the girls a little fill-in-the-blank quiz on facts from the story.

They used the numbered blanks to make a word scramble which lead them to….

My favorite was the scene when it snowed! Eliza loved the snow too and when Clara danced with the Nutcracker when he was a doll and the Chinese dancers.  Claire’s favorite was the snow dance and the girls in green playing flutes. And of course, The Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy!
